Electric scooters: how to choose your model

Dualtron New City

Start with your route, storage space and intended use. A power figure alone does not describe comfort, portability or real-world range.

Compare battery units

Multiplying volts by amp-hours gives nominal watt-hours: 60 V × 25 Ah is approximately 1,500 Wh. This is not a measurement of usable energy or a guaranteed range. Compare the included charger, claimed charging time and storage instructions as well.

Leave a range reserve

Payload, cold, hills, wind, tyres and speed affect range. Compare the measurement conditions and plan a reserve. Catalogue figures alone do not rank scooters without a common test.

Wheels, brakes and storage

Compare tyre size and type, suspension, brakes, lighting, handlebar width and deck height. Check folded dimensions and weight if stairs, storage or vehicle loading are involved.

Before ordering

Check the rules where you will ride and the compliance of the exact version. Confirm its battery, charger, availability, delivered price and warranty with the seller.

Three example configurations
