Explore the 79Bike Lynx offered by NYVOLT: 12 kW peak power, 72 V 40 Ah battery, 19/18-inch wheels and the fit questions that matter before buying.

The 79Bike Lynx adds a different configuration to a shortlist that already includes the Falcon Pro and Falcon GT. NYVOLT lists the Lynx with 12 kW peak power and a 72 V 40 Ah LG battery. Those figures make it worth examining, but the stronger reason to compare models is the complete combination of fit, wheels, battery capacity and available support.

This guide describes the off-road Lynx configuration in NYVOLT’s offer. A US buyer should request a quotation for their address and confirm the exact motorcycle before using a French storefront listing as a purchase offer for another market.

Understand the battery difference

The Lynx’s stated 72 V 40 Ah battery corresponds to 2.88 kWh of nominal energy. The Falcon Pro’s 72 V 35 Ah specification corresponds to 2.52 kWh. The difference is 0.36 kWh, or approximately 14.3% more nominal energy in the Lynx configuration.

That calculation is useful when comparing battery sizes. It is not evidence of a 14.3% range increase: motorcycle mass, tires, operating conditions, usable battery energy and riding style also affect consumption. If a longer outing is your reason for considering the Lynx, ask for information relevant to your route rather than relying on battery capacity alone.

Check the taller seating position

NYVOLT lists an 855 mm seat height, approximately 33.7 inches, and a motorcycle weight of 66.2 kg including the battery. These details deserve attention before comparing maximum output. A taller seat may feel appropriate to one rider and awkward to another, especially when stopping on uneven ground.

Seat height does not fully describe fit. Seat width, suspension sag, footwear and your ability to reach the controls change the result. If possible, assess the same model in person. Otherwise, compare the dimensions with a motorcycle you know and ask about setup guidance. Make sure you can also move and load the motorcycle as your riding routine requires.

Decide what the wheel configuration means for you

The offered Lynx uses a 19-inch front wheel and an 18-inch rear wheel. The Falcon Pro uses a 19-inch wheel at both ends. This is a configuration difference to investigate, not an automatic reason to declare one motorcycle superior.

Ask for the tire sizes and the specific tires supplied. Check the availability of replacement tires suitable for your permitted riding terrain. Wheel diameter alone does not establish traction, comfort or handling: tire construction, pressure, suspension setup and riding conditions are part of the same picture.

Put 12 kW peak power in context

Peak power describes a maximum output, not continuous output during an entire ride. The Lynx’s 12 kW figure sits between the Falcon Pro’s listed 10 kW and the Falcon GT configuration NYVOLT lists at 16 kW. It does not tell you how those motorcycles compare in a controlled acceleration test.

Ask how the riding modes and throttle response work, particularly if you are moving from a less powerful motorcycle. A useful demonstration would show low-speed control and braking behavior as well as acceleration. Do not infer a measured performance ranking from a comparison of peak figures alone.

Make the quotation match your riding plan

Tell NYVOLT your delivery ZIP code, intended terrain and experience. Confirm address eligibility, the supplied charger’s input requirements and the practical arrangements for diagnosis, replacement parts and warranty work. Verify which costs are included in the quotation.

The Lynx belongs on your shortlist if its battery specification, seating position and equipment fit your priorities. Choose it after comparing those details with the Falcon Pro and GT, rather than treating its position between two power figures as the whole buying argument.
